This is a delicious real home made bread! My friend is baking it every single week and her family loves it!
For those of you who seek for strictly healthy recipes, It may not be the best as it contain sugar and gluten. But if you must have bread and have to choose between home made bread to commercial one, it’s clear that there is a huge difference. This home made bread does not contain any preservatives or harmful chemicals as those that we buy in the stores.
What you need:
1 1/4 cup room-temperature water
1 tbs salt
2 spoons brown sugar
2 spoons olive oil
3 cups flour: 2 whole wheat, one white
1 1/4 active dry yeast
1/4 cup walnuts OR
1/2 cup kalamata olives OR
1 spoon pesto sauce OR
1/2 cup sun dried tomatoes
What to do:
Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl or a blender (or bread maker, if you have one). Let it rest for 45 minutes and then bake for 30 minutes (175 degrees celsius).
As per the shape: you could use a baking tray in different shapes, or leave it as one big piece of dough to get more crispy sides. Or you can create smaller balls for couple smaller breads.
