Persian food is really good – especially the rice. They have many kinds of rice, and this one is a great favorite!
What you need:
2 cups of rice
1-2 cups of raisins (no sugar added). I say ’1-2′ as it depends of the level of sweetness you prefer to have.
1/2 cup of crushed raw almonds (I crush them myself in a food processor to get the best taste)
1 cup dried goji berries
1 spoon Avocado oil
3 cups of filtered water
Salt to taste
What to do:
Warm up the oil in a wide pot and add the Ingredients.
Add the water and bring to boil when pot is covered.
Lower the heat and leave half covered for another 15 minutes or so, or until the rice is soft and ready and they are no more water.
Close the heat and leave for another 5 minutes when covered.
