1 Tofu pack
1/4 cup soy sauce (low sodium if possible)
2 spoons silan (date honey), or honey, or maple syrup
2 garlic tooth
1 spoon fresh ginger (chopped)
1/2 tbs sesame oil
Mix all the sauce ingredients in a ball. Cut the tofu to a nice 1 cm slices and put on a paper towel so it will be as dry as possible.
Pour the sauce on the tofu slices and leave for 30 minutes. Then flip the tofu to the other side and leave for another 30 minutes.
Cook in the oven in 200 Celsius for 20 minutes on one side, and another 20 minutes on the other side.
What you do with baked tofu?
- You are not suppose to eat it all right from the oven!
- Put in a sandwich or a wrap.
- Cut to cubes and add to a salad.
- Add to rice dishes.
- Add to sushi or rice papers.
